I’ve not come across many brushed fabrics other than a handful of wovens and a ton of poly knits. But I definitely hadn’t seen a gabardine with a brushed side. So I did my best to catch it on camera (I say that like it’s an elusive endangered species). For those unaware gabardine fabric is what I would consider “fancy” dockers fabric. A thick/heavyweight textile that is often used for both garments and upholstery. It’s sturdy and visually appealing, frequently used for trench coats, uniforms, etc.
Burn test reveals this fabric is made from natural fibers.
