I’m unsure if this classifies as a satin but we did burn test this fabric and it was found to be a synthetic. It’s a VERY PERMANENT and PURPOSEFUL pressed crinkle. This is a “retro” fabric (I’m not sure if this is from the 90s or early 00s but I don’t image it’s from before 80s). You can see in the images a pic of how we received the donation, wrapped in a bag that I don’t think I’ve seen in decades.
I think it could make some amazing harvest backdrops, a seasonal outlandish gown fit for a “slow-fashion show”, or a scrap accent on a copper themed steampunk costume ?
53” Width - We have 2 bolts of this. It doesn’t have any labels so we’re unsure how much on each bolt but it’s COUNTLESS yards.
