We have burn tested this and results were consistent with wool. It is definitely “old” but unsure of how old. Our guess is 1970s/80s?
I’d definitely say this would make an amazing lined cloak!!! The fabric is fairly heavy and the weaving is very visible yet tightly woven and not loose.
