Unfinished Cross Stitch Pre-Printed Cloth
According to the pre-printed lines, this would eventually measure 84” x 100”
I have come across many vintage WIPS but this has to be the most interesting. It was packaged in a zip lock baggie so it’s very wrinkled. I don’t want to wash it because I want to leave the hoop as-is on it. That way the new owner of said WIP can choose to continue right where it’s at or to remove and make something new.
It looks as though there are 3 panels to this and they all stitch together to make a giant cloth. At first I thought this was just a sheet that was going to get stitched on but then I realized I’ve never seen that before. So the next thought I have is this is either eventually a quilt topper or a tablecloth. But it’s just fabric after all, so you could even cut the pieces apart to make a bunch of different items out of it. The choice is yours!
